Fairlight and T3 Live have been working together for over the past 10 years, particularly in ligthing fixtures (Martin and CLF) and consoles (Avolites). Recently, they have expanded their rental stock with L-acoustics.

T3 Live, supplier of audio, light and video from Doetinchem, was looking for a sound system to expand their rental stock. Multifunctionality was the most important requirement. Pim Heutink, owner of T3 Live, explains: "T3 Live is a relatively small player in the market. Our focus is on delivering quality and service. That's why we only invest in A-brands. We also think it's important that material can be used in a wide range of applications, because we don’t have enough resources and space to have many different systems in stock. Our clients vary from theatres to marquees and sports halls. That’s why a stackable system is often the most practical for us. When Dennis Huurenkamp of Fairlight told us at the beginning of this year that L-Acoustics would come with a new stackable system, we were immediately interested.”

That new system turned out to be the "new ARCS": A10 and A15 speakers combined with the KS21 subwoofer. Pim explains: "This was exactly what we were looking for. One complete system that we can both fly and stack- both horizontally and vertically, Perfect! And the adjustable L-Fins on the A10 and A15 also offer great functionality.  We can adjust (70-90-110 degrees) without having to change anything or use separate downfill boxes. For us, this means more efficient construction.

Well-considered investment 

The decision for this system was well-considered by T3 Live. Several demo sessions followed after the introduction. Pim: "We don't make this type of investments every year, so you want to learn the power and limitations of this particular system. That’s why we have had demo sessions in a theatre setting and festival setting. The quality of the system and the assistance of Fairlight resulted in the final decision.
