Vlaardingen, The Netherlands – Stadsgehoorzaal Vlaardingen has recently invested in a new L-Acoustics sound system: the Kiva II system, supplied and installed by Fairlight. With a strong focus on optimal sound quality and seamless aesthetic integration, this upgrade marks an important step in modernizing the theatre experience.
“The entire process was smooth and professional,” says Dave de Man, technician at Stadsgehoorzaal Vlaardingen and responsible for the system purchase. “From the initial meeting through to the final installation and calibration, our team worked closely with the Fairlight technicians. Any issues were resolved quickly, and our requirements were carefully listened to.”
Following an initial inspection of the theatre, a detailed Soundvision design of the venue was created. “Once we discussed and approved the design, we received a quotation that perfectly matched our expectations and provides even coverage throughout the entire auditorium,” De Man adds.
The result is a clear, powerful yet subtle sound system that blends seamlessly with the theatre’s iconic side walls—an essential requirement for Stadsgehoorzaal Vlaardingen. “We are extremely pleased with the system,” De Man concludes.
