MANTIS is the newest Portman Lights fixture. It uses powerful LED sources. There are main dim-to-warm sources and coloured glow. The new fixture introduces a completely new design and is a departure from the hexagons and retro style associated with the brand.

Light sources
The total power of the LEDs in the Mantis is 250 W. It has three main halogen emulating LED sources with smooth dimming with a total power of 180 W. At low intensity, they have a warm colour of 1600K, and at a maximum value, it is 3200K. These are accompanied by RGBW glow. In the central part of the fixture, there is one more RGBW source with a frosted diffuser and the possibility of installing cut gobos.
Mantis can be powered by any current 100-240V 50Hz / 60Hz.

Dimensions and weight
Mantis is a handy and lightweight device. Dimensions are about 65x65x20 cm, and the weight is only 8 kg. The yoke allows assembling the fixture in any orientation on tripods or hooks attached to the truss or pipes.
The shape of the lamp allows you to build larger structures and combine them into various shapes.

Control
Mantis has 5-PIN XLR connectors (input / output). We can also use the WDMX module for remote control. We can choose one of six DMX modes from 21 to 43 channels. Electronics supports the RDM protocol. It has also built-in macros to set the fixture in a standalone mode.

Design
Mantis has a new design based on the plan of a three-pointed star. It deviates from the retro-style hexagons and honeycombs which are associated with Portman Lights. The design is protected by the patent. Also in China.
