Recently, Fairlight supplied an L-Acoustics system, Avolites ART 2020 dimmer installation and Robert Juliat lighting fixtures to the theatre in Kerkrade.

The sound system consists of 16 Kara line array cabinets in a stereo setting. These Kara line arrays are including 2 * SB18 complimentary flown in the array, extend the bandwidth to 32 Hz. and increase the LF Contour. In addition, 6 KIVA II units are placed as center cluster. 6 5XT cabinets function as front fill. The system is controlled by 2 Dolby Lake LM44 controllers and a L-Acoustics LA4X amplifiers with integrated processor. The infrastructure and cabling was delivered and installed in cooperation with ISO-audio, as well as all the necessary equipment, intercom and microphones.

The dimmer installation of the theatre has been completely replaced by 3 Avolites ART 2020 dimmerracks. These dimmers can also be used as switches, so the theatre is ready for the future! The dimmerracks are equipped with intelligent power monitoring and protection, a DMX splitter, a local test function and direct ART-NET and sACN inputs.

A conventional set consisting of Robert Juliat 310 and 329 PCs and 614SX profile spots was chosen as basic lighting setup. A multifunctional set with Martin MAC Auras and CLF Conan can be used for both locations.
