The PIXELHUE P80 is a high-performance presentation switcher in the “P Series”, engineered for live events, multi-screen installations, LED walls and other demanding AV applications. The P series employs an FPGA-based high-performance image-enhancement architecture and real 4K60p 4:4:4 10-bit internal video processing

With its dual-mode flexibility (switcher mode or PGM-only mode), versatile 4K connectivity, advanced video processing features and industry-grade reliability, the P80 is designed for both fixed installations and rental environments.

It supports conversion between SDR, HDR10 and HLG, and supports color spaces BT.601, BT.709 and BT.2020 (and DCI-P3) for optimal colour fidelity.

In terms of reliability the P series supports full device backup, input-source backup and automatic switching to backup sources for uninterrupted operation in live environments.

• Swappable input link card (P_HDMI2.0_DP1.2_OPT) adding 4 × concurrent 4K inputs (2 × HDMI 2.0 + 2 × HDMI 2.0 / DP 1.2 selectable).
• Selectable connector types on mixed ports (HDMI or DP) — only one type accepted per connector at a time.

Outputs

• 8 × HDMI 2.0 main outputs (organized in 4 groups) — supporting up to 4 × 4K copy mode or 8 × DL split mode.
• 4 × HDMI 2.0 “flex” outputs (up to 4 × 4K flex screens; multiviewer capable).
• 4 × 12G-SDI matrix outputs (map any source/PGM/Flex to SDI matrix outputs).
• 2 × dedicated HDMI multiviewer outputs.
• 8 × 10G SFP optical copy ports (for long-distance 4K transmission without separate fiber converters).

Layers, Mixing & Presets

• Supports multi-layer mixing: up to 8 × 4K mixing main layers and 4 × 4K PIP mixing layers (advanced layer effects supported: DSK, borders, shadows, cut & fill, opacity, etc.).
• Layer roaming supported without reducing layer resources; each screen supports one still background.
• Supports up to 256 user presets and 256 layer presets for quick recall.

Advanced Processing

• Advanced scaler and color management, bezel compensation, edge blend and simulation tools for LED/large-screen setups.
• Frame-accurate switching, source copy, and multi-format conversion across HDMI/DP/SDI.

Reliability & Control

• Hot input backup and automatic switching to backup sources to ensure uninterrupted output in live environments.
• Full device backup (restore/clone device settings) and redundant power supply options.
• Local control via touchscreen plus remote control options (software/network control supported).
